Overlay Development Program at Carrara Stadium The IAAF accredited Thor 10 Hammer Discus cages were placed in the main Carrara Stadium and outside warm-up track for the lead contractor Cockram Constructions QLD. Network 7 Gold Coast media https://lnkd.in/gW8Qcnd) During athletic events, the hammer cage is usually an obstruction to viewing running events. Most cages have a ten pole net support with framed gates and is a substantial obstacle when trying to view events through the cage, even with the net lowered. The Thor 10 cage has only four pole and appears to make a substantial difference when viewing runners on the other side of the cage.
